Solo Exibition, ArtSafe gallery, Singapore, 2020
During the quiet months of the pandemic, I curated Slow Art at ArtSafe Pte Ltd—an exhibition that invited viewers to reflect on time, patience, and the beauty of deliberate creation. The show featured twenty-six works developed over the course of a year, including my own paintings, reproductions of Rembrandt’s studies, and Chinese calligraphy created by my daughter.
Each piece embodied a mindful process of making, where colors and forms were balanced with care and precision. In a moment when the world had slowed down, painting became a meditative act—a way to find rhythm, clarity, and connection through art.
Slow Art celebrated the quiet strength of creativity, reminding us that even in stillness, art continues to grow, transform, and sustain.
