Burlap, Collage, and the Unsaid

On Monday, we are going to install the exhibition at the hotel.
Everything has happened so quickly that it still feels unreal — that I managed to complete everything on time, in just a month and a half.

In total, the exhibition brings together seven collages: five works on burlap and six sketches. All of them circle around a shared intention — to recover forgotten mythologies and to reveal the sacred within all living things. This is how Naima articulated it. Her text feels like another kind of masterpiece: a way of understanding what, for me, does not yet exist in words. What she writes is exactly what I try to transmit through material, technique, and the narratives of my paintings — as if language dissolves, and the work speaks instead.

The exhibition will run for a full month and will include two workshops and one live performance.

The pace of making and the pace of events has accelerated so much that I am no longer trying to keep up with speed. I am simply following the flow — with curiosity, trust, and a quiet sense of wonder.
